This is an automated message from VWBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Fusion World Food Cafe, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.fusioncooking.co.za/restauranthistory.htm.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Fusion World Food Cafe requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. andy (talk) 00:14, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Fusion World Food Café, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

Why is our restaurant page getting deleted? and can it be UNdeleted ? please.

[edit]

I am trying to set up our restaurant article but it keeps getting deleted, and the bot keeps on telling us that we are copyright infringing on ourselves via our own domain www.fusioncooking.co.za/restauranthistory.htm ... which is the domain of our restaurant... and so some of the info is going to be very similar... and there is no copyright issues... help help... thx Sionkooc (talk) 01:58, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Fusion World Food Cafe has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No independent reliable sources provided to demonstrate notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. • Come on now. This is an encyclopedia, not an advertising venue. Language such as "this highly innovative establishment is run by a dedicated team of principals" is obviously not neutral. This is the third time you created the article; it's time to stop. Drmies (talk) 04:02, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Chef Shaun Smith

[edit]

Hello. I declined the speedy deletion tagging of your page on Shaun Smith because you've clearly been putting a lot of effort into cleaning it up. It looks much better. The referencing should still be improved, but I think it's notable and not too promotional. I have cleaned it up a bit, and if you have any questions about my changes, feel free to ask me or look at the Manual of Style. I also moved the page from "Chef Shaun Smith" to Shaun Smith (chef) in accordance with the naming conventions. I left a redirect at the original name. Anyway, good work -- keep improving it! GorillaWarfare talk 05:17, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks - I am putting more work into the referencing and sources and will clean up further. Sionkooc (talk) 05:25, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:FWFClogo2010.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:FWFClogo2010.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 21:11, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:FWFClogo2010.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:FWFClogo2010.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 03:10, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
